Pair of antique (1846) first-edition, wonderfully illustrated hardcover books Volumes II and III entitled Ireland It’s Scenery, Character & c. written by Mr. & Mrs. S.C. Hall and published in London, England by Virtue & Co.
About the authors and the books: Mr. & Mrs. Hall, the authors, both Irish, travelled through Ireland on five tours between 1825 and 1841 and wrote of their travels in a three-volume set of books. This is Volume II and II of that original three-volume set. The books provide a fabulous written and pictorial record of Ireland and include incredibly well-detailed topographical descriptions, peppered with a well-composed social history on Ireland. Books include more than 400 specially commissioned, original illustrations of Ireland between the two volumes including wonderful colorized maps and topographical charts.

Antique 1900’s Indian art print is in Great – Good Condition. Old heavy gold gilt wood frame, with glass cover. Signed E. L. Nye. The Indian is hunting
for his prey in the dark.
History: E. L. Nye / Elmer L. Nye, was an artist / printmaker in the Early 1900’s.
He started print making in Minnesota as early as 1914 time period. He was known
for his Exceptional Printmaking Work.
Measures: 15 3/4in. by 21 1/2in. Wood Frame

Hallmarked within the body and under the lid
for London 1858 and by Edward John Barnard.
The cartouches around the drum are open

ANTIQUE GEORGIAN STERLING SILVER PINT MUG/TANKARD – ROBERT – 1762
This is a super antique Georgian solid sterling silver mug/tankard hallmarked for London 1762 with the silversmiths mark for William Shaw II.
It measures 4 3/4″ (12 cms) tall x 3 1/4″ (8.5 cms) across the top and weighs 336 grams which gives you an idea of the quality.
The condition is superb with no damage, it has a one pint capacity and it has the name Robert engraved on the cartouche.
